Linebacker Tamba Hali has reached a five-year, $60 million deal that includes $35 million in guarantees with the Chiefs, according to an ESPN report.
After leading the AFC in sacks with 14 1/2 last season he was designated the Chiefs franchise player. Hali was playing on a a five-year deal worth $3.3 million.
This will be Hali’s sixth season in the league, all coming with the Chiefs. He has 41 1/2 career sacks, and has never missed a game over the course of his six-year career.
